Summary

ValidaTek is seeking a Sr. Network Administrator who will manage, design, and secure the network infrastructure for a large IT modernization and transformational program for our DISA customer.  The Sr.  Network Administrator will ensure high performance, availability, and reliability of the network.

Responsibilities

  • Leading network-related projects from conception to implementation.
  • Planning, designing, and implementing scalable LAN/WAN, VP, and wireless network infrastructures.
  • Performing installations, configurations, and ongoing maintenance of network devices, operating systems, and applications.
  • Monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to ensure optimal availability and reliability.
  • Implementing and overseeing network security measures.
  • Providing expert-level troubleshooting and support for complex network outages and performance issues.
  • Developing and testing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in increasingly complex networking infrastructure in a cleared government environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
  • Deep knowledge of routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
  • Experience with network security principles, firewall management, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to collaborate with IT teams and end users.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/related field or equivalent work experience.

USD $95,577.60/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate

USD $159,296.00/Yr.

Salary Disclosure

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
