ValidaTek is searching for an Application Programmer who will design, develop, and maintain software applications to support business operations and user needs.

In this role, the Application Programmer will:

 

• Develop and maintain software applications using programming languages such as Java and Python.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into functional applications.
• Conduct software testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate software solutions with existing systems.
• Document application designs, workflows, and updates.

Requirements:

 

• To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
• 5+ years’ experience in programming and application development.
• Proven experience development and maintain software applications using languages such as Java and Python.
• Ability to analyze user requirements and design and program functional applications.
• Proven ability to collaborate with other teams to integrate software solutions into existing systems.
• Experience documenting application design, workflow, and updates.
• All candidates must have a current Secret clearance.
• Preferred Certifications: Java Certification, Python Certification, AWS Developer
• All candidates must be DoD 8140 qualified.

 

 

Education: 

 

All candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.

USD $68,075.21/Yr.

USD $113,458.69/Yr.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
