ValidaTek is searching for a Systems Engineer 3 who will design and manage IT systems to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.

In this role, the Systems Engineer 3 will:

 

• Plan, implement, and maintain IT systems and services.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve system performance issues.
• Develop and implement system management best practices.
• Support system integration and migration projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical expertise

Requirements:

 

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

 

• 8+ years of experience planning, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and services.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve system performance issues.
• Experience utilizing systems management best practices to ensure optimal performance.
• Experience with system nitration and migration projects.
• Proven ability to collaborate with others to support organizational needs.
• Experience mentoring and providing guidance to more junior system engineers.
• All candidates must have a current Secret clearance.
• Preferred Certifications: FITSP-O, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP
• All candidates must be DoD 8140 qualified.

 

Education:

 

All candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent work experience.

USD $79,648.00/Yr.

USD $132,746.67/Yr.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
