ValidaTek is searching for a Systems Engineer who will assist in maintaining IT systems and networks, focusing on ensuring system availability and performance.

In this role, the Systems Engineer 2 will:

 

• Support system design, deployment, and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Assist in system monitoring and performance tuning.
• Document system configurations and updates.
• Provide support for end-users and resolve technical queries.

Requirements:

 

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

 

• 7+ years of networking experience supporting system design, deployment, and maintenance.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Experience monitoring systems and performance tuning.
• Experience providing end-user support to successful resolution.
• Proven ability to collaborate with others to support organizational needs.
• All candidates must have a current Secret clearance.
• Preferred Certifications: FITSP-O, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP
• All candidates must be DoD 8140 qualified.

 

Education:

 

All candidates must have an associate degree in IT or related field or equivalent work experience.

USD $68,075.21/Yr.

USD $113,458.69/Yr.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
