ValidaTek is searching for a Network Engineer II who will lead the design and maintenance of scalable networking solutions.

In this role, the Network Engineer II will:

 

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure solutions.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and network diagnostics.
• Ensure compliance with security and performance standards.
• Mentor junior network engineers.

Requirements:

 

• To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
• 5+ years of network experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructures
• Proven ability to run network diagnostics and identify and resolve network issues.
• Experience mentoring and providing guidance to more junior network engineers.
• Proven ability to collaborate with others to support organizational needs.
• All candidates must have a current Secret clearance.
• Preferred Certifications: CEH, CFR, Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Sec+ or GSEC
• All candidates must be DoD 8140 qualified.

 

Education: 

 

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in networking or related field or equivalent work experience.

USD $68,075.21/Yr.

USD $113,458.69/Yr.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
