ValidaTek is searching for Sr. Network Engineer who will be tasked with designing, deploying, and managing robust networking solutions for our customer.

In this role, the Sr. Network Engineer will:

 

• Plan, configure, and maintain complex network solutions.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve network performance issues.
• Develop and enforce network policies and procedures.
• Collaborate on network architecture design to support organizational needs.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Demonstrated success in planning and managing complex networks.
• Proven capability to identify and resolve network performance issues.
• Experience developing and enforcing network policies and procedures.
• Strong ability to collaborate with customers, co-workers, and management to ensure a better solution and network.
• Proven leadership abilities and experience mentoring a team for optimal performance.
• All candidates must have a current Secret clearance.
• Preferred Certifications: CCNA GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIH
• All candidates must be DoD 8140 qualified.

 

Education:

 

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

USD $79,648.00/Yr.

USD $132,746.67/Yr.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
