Summary

ValidaTek is seeking a highly organized and mission-focused Node Site Coordinator to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) operations in Pensacola, FL. This role is critical to maintaining the operational readiness and efficiency of DISA node facilities, ensuring seamless communication infrastructure, coordination with technical teams, and compliance with DoD standards.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for all activities related to the DISA node.

  • Coordinate facility operations, upgrades, and maintenance with DISA HQ, contractors, and other stakeholders.

  • Maintain real-time situational awareness of node performance, outages, and infrastructure readiness.

  • Ensure timely and accurate implementation of change requests, work orders, and trouble tickets.

  • Monitor and report on environmental systems (power, HVAC, physical security) impacting node functionality.

  • Support installation and integration of network and computing hardware per DISA specifications.

  • Manage site access for visitors, technicians, and contractors in accordance with security policies.

  • Maintain accurate records of assets, configurations, patch levels, and lifecycle documentation.

  • Track and report compliance with cybersecurity, safety, and operational standards.

  • Provide regular updates to government leads and participate in site reviews, audits, and inspections.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred or ability to upgrade).

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, facilities coordination, network operations, or military communications environments.

  • Knowledge of DoD network infrastructure and DISA operations.

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Remedy, ServiceNow) and change management processes.

  • Strong understanding of power, cooling, cabling, and security considerations for network nodes.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic networking tools.

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation.

  • Prior experience working in a DoD Network Operations Center (NOC) or with DISA GIG Services.

Posted Min Pay Rate

USD $90,000.00/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate

USD $110,000.00/Yr.

Salary Disclosure

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
