Summary

ValidaTek is seeking a skilled and experienced Acropolis Service Owner to lead the management and oversight of the Nutanix Acropolis infrastructure service supporting the Cybersecurity Systems Support (CSS) contract with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This role is responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of the Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure platform that underpins critical cybersecurity operations. This is a 100% on-site position based in Pensacola, FL. 

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the lifecycle of the Nutanix Acropolis infrastructure service, including deployment, maintenance, and optimization. 
  • Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of the Acropolis platform to meet mission requirements. 
  • Develop and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs), operational procedures, and best practices for the Acropolis environment. 
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity, network, and systems teams to integrate Acropolis services securely within the broader IT ecosystem. 
  • Lead troubleshooting, incident response, and problem resolution for Acropolis-related issues. 
  • Oversee patch management, upgrades, and capacity planning for the Nutanix infrastructure. 
  • Maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration baselines, and operational manuals. 
  • Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards, and DISA requirements. 
  • Collaborate with vendors and DISA stakeholders to support infrastructure enhancements and audits. 
  • Monitor system health and generate reports on performance, availability, and security status. 

 

Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • 7+ years experience managing Nutanix Acropolis or similar hyper-converged infrastructure platforms. 
  • Strong technical knowledge of virtualization, storage, and infrastructure services. 
  • Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks including RMF. 
  • Proven ability to manage complex IT services with a focus on reliability and security. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience supporting DoD or DISA IT infrastructure contracts. 
  • Nutanix certifications (e.g., Nutanix Platform Expert - NPX). 
  • Knowledge of cloud integration and hybrid infrastructure solutions. 
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and orchestration tools. 

 

Posted Min Pay Rate

USD $100,000.00/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate

USD $130,000.00/Yr.

Salary Disclosure

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
