Summary

ValidaTek is seeking an experienced and mission-focused MPN/CDS Service Owner to lead the planning, implementation, and lifecycle management of Mission Partner Network (MPN) and Cross Domain Solution (CDS) services in support of the Cybersecurity Systems Support (CSS) contract with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This position serves as the primary technical and operational authority over MPN and CDS capabilities, ensuring secure, compliant, and mission-aligned delivery of services across classified and unclassified environments. This is a 100% on-site position located in Pensacola, FL. 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the service owner and subject matter expert (SME) for all MPN and CDS capabilities, providing technical leadership and strategic guidance throughout the system lifecycle. 
  • Oversee design, deployment, integration, sustainment, and decommissioning of MPN and CDS services in accordance with DoD security and interoperability standards. 
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems, and network teams to ensure services meet RMF, ATO, and Cross Domain Baseline compliance requirements. 
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive service documentation, including CONOPS, SOPs, architectural diagrams, security plans, and transition-to-support documentation. 
  • Manage and coordinate system upgrades, configuration changes, and patching while maintaining mission availability and security posture. 
  • Monitor and report on service performance, availability, compliance, and risk using approved DoD monitoring and assessment tools (e.g., ACAS, HBSS, Splunk). 
  • Interface with DISA stakeholders, mission partners, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the alignment of MPN/CDS services with operational objectives. 
  • Lead and participate in technical reviews, change boards, security testing, and formal evaluation activities related to CDS/MPN. 
  • Coordinate response and resolution of incidents, vulnerabilities, or outages affecting MPN/CDS systems, ensuring proper escalation and documentation. 
  • Manage configuration baselines and maintain authoritative documentation in eMASS, including POA&Ms and artifacts tied to control families. 

 

Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, CAP) – required. 
  • 7+ years of experience with DoD IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or systems engineering, including 2+ years supporting MPN or CDS environments. 
  • Deep understanding of Cross Domain Solutions, including guard technologies, data transfer methodologies, and accreditation processes. 
  • Working knowledge of Mission Partner Environment (MPE) frameworks and DISA enterprise services. 
  • Experience in navigating Risk Management Framework (RMF), cross domain baseline requirements, and managing artifacts within eMASS. 
  • Proficiency in managing and supporting enterprise systems across classified and unclassified domains. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with DISA-sponsored CDS technologies (e.g., Radiant Mercury, ISSE Guard, CDS-E). 
  • Familiarity with Joint Information Environment (JIE) architecture and multinational coalition operations. 
  • Knowledge of DoD cloud services, virtualization technologies, and network segmentation/enclaving. 
  • Experience with ITIL practices, including incident, change, and configuration management. 

Posted Min Pay Rate

USD $100,000.00/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate

USD $135,000.00/Yr.

Salary Disclosure

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
