Summary

ValidaTek is seeking a talented Junior SharePoint Developer for our DISA JSP Web Services Team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions using Agile processes such as Scrum or DevOps.
  • Design, develop and maintain SharePoint applications for SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online using Microsoft Power Platform, SPFx Framework plug-ins, extensions and web parts incorporating JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern interfaces such as React.JS.
  • Implementation of Power Platform based forms, dashboards and solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear script code.
  • Protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Actively participate in product design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment. A wide degree of creativity and latitude required.
  • Experience using Agile frameworks such as Scrum or DevOps.

Qualifications

  • Experience programming in SPFx, JSON. JavaScript and JSON required.
  • Ability to understand scripts written in .JS frameworks such as jQuery, KnockOut, Bootstrap or React.
  • Experience with Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate and SharePoint Online.
  • Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications.
  • Microsoft PL-900, Power Platform Fundamentals a plus but not required.
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related discipline is desired.
  • Must be able to travel to Arlington, VA (work-site) one to two days per week.
  • 2+ years of hands-on SharePoint Development experience.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high quality/error free deliverables.
  • Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.

Posted Min Pay Rate

USD $80,000.00/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate

USD $112,000.00/Yr.

Salary Disclosure

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
