Summary

As a Mid Network Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the computer networks of our organization. You will be tasked with ensuring the network runs smoothly and efficiently, while also ensuring that security protocols are in place and adhered to. The ideal candidate will have experience in network administration and will possess strong technical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for installing, configuring, and administering Windows Server 2008R2, Server 2012R2, Server 2016, and Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Install, configure and maintain network hardware and software components
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Ensure network security and integrity by implementing appropriate security measures
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to network components to ensure optimum performance
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the overall IT infrastructure
  • Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights on the network
  • Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data protection
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to network systems and procedures
  • Provide end-user support for network-related issues as needed 

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's in Science degree in Computer Engineering, computer information systems, telecommunications, or management information systems, or have 3-5 years of documented experience.
  •  

    At least 1 year of experience working with SQL, to include: installing, configuring, maintenance, backups, and restore.

  • Working knowledge of network protocols, IP addressing, and virtual computing concepts. And also provide assistance with the administration of networking equipment.

  • Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels
  • Day to day operations and maintenance which include but not limited to: review of audit logs, creating backups of the data files, maintaining network equipment inventory
  • Server/Workstation Security and maintenance updates
  • SQL Maintenance across multiple systems
  • Creating New and Validating current and new backups of SQL Systems
  • Supporting COOP functions of Windows Systems with active SQL databases
  • Maintain system configuration documentation
  • Maintain system process and procedure documentation
  • Maintain patch versions and Department of Defense (DoD) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) levels on all network Servers, workstations, and laptops
  • Provide technical support and implementation for workstations, servers, and virtual terminals
  • Provide installation support for network systems applications
  • Support as needed DoD Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF)

USD $79,648.00/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate

USD $132,746.67/Yr.

Salary Disclosure

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
