Summary

Validatek is seeking a talented Project Manager - Special Initiatives to support an enterprising program with our DISA customer. The performance expectations will be the following:

Responsibilities

  • Provide support, recommendations, and collaborate with JSP Solutions/Engineering on technical planning for future initiatives.
  • Develop recommendations for new/emerging engineering solutions ensuring they conform to JSP IT environments.
  • Manage, perform, and complete Government approved JSP initiatives, which are internal Platform Services back-office projects. Typically, there are 15-20 ongoing initiatives per month but no more than 30.
  • Prepare Sponsor Forms for Government approval prior to beginning work on the initiative. 
  • Complete all initiatives IAW the initiative plan (schedule, and performance). 
  • Update initiatives weekly or as agreed upon by the Government to reflect the initiative status.
  • Provide for each initiative the lead, requirement, scope, resources required, and schedule, as agreed upon by the Government. Additional documentation may be required based on the nature of the initiative. 
  • Develop O&M packages or update transition packages with JSP Government approved templates, schedules, and sponsor forms.
  • Report status of initiatives in the Weekly Activity Report and at the monthly IPR.
  • Document each initiative in the enterprise ITSM ticket systems. Sub-tasks of the project will be created in Remedy to document and monitor the level of effort, time, and resources involved. Reporting will be provided through SharePoint.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering, computer information systems, telecommunications, or management information systems, and 5+ years of related experience. 
  • Possess PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAU Level III PM.
  • Information Assurance (IA) Certification: DoDI 8570 IAT II certification. (Security+ CE, CCNA – Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)
  • Computing Environment (CE) Certification: Recent and relevant technical certification.
  • Experience in implementing solution designs and operating environments that are compliant with all Federal and DoD guidance and policies. 
  • Experience in execution of project plans while mitigating identified risks. 
  • Experience in implementing software, hardware, and communications solutions. 
  • Experience working as a Senior IT analyst that covers requirements analysis, system design, project management, and enterprise strategy. 
  • Experience in Windows environment on Server 2008, Server 2012, and Windows 7 and/or Windows 10 operating systems environments similar in size and scope of this order. 

Posted Min Pay Rate

USD $114,693.12/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate

USD $191,155.20/Yr.

Salary Disclosure

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
