Summary

We are seeking a talented SharePoint Systems Administrator to support the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA. This role will manage an environment that has 1500+ sites, 2400+ sub sites, 162,000+ pages, and 2300+ custom pages. The ideal candidate will have a high level of proficiency in SharePoint administration in dynamic IT environments. You will join a technically diverse team to include, but not limited to Help Desk Specialists, Network Engineers, System Administrators, and Database Professionals. Together, this team provides IT Operations and Support to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Agency which is responsible for training law enforcement professionals from over 90 different agencies.    

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. 
  • Design, develop, and customize current and future SharePoint solutions to meet specific business requirements. 
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint lists, libraries, and custom solutions to support Power Apps.  
  • Maintain a collection of customer SharePoint web sites, libraries, imbedded forms, and database connections, including test, development, staging and publication as well as web services and web authoring / managing software.  
  • Configure new and existing sites and pages to ensure compliance with Section 508 / WCAG 2.0 requirements. 
  • Provide weekly/monthly updates and reports on any on-going maintenance work and projects.  
  • Assist in the administration of various SharePoint sites, maintaining and updating existing sites, setting up new sites, user groups, site permissions and access. 

Qualifications

  • Eight (8) years of Systems Engineering experience 
  • Three (3) years SharePoint Administration experience; experience with SharePoint 2013;  
  • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of SharePoint environments;  
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with SharePoint, Windows Server, IIS, and SQL;  
  • Experience with both Windows Server 2008 and 2012 operating systems;  
  • Experience managing SharePoint content databases in SQL Server 2008 and 2012; 
  • Experience troubleshooting SQL database connection issues; experience scripting with PowerShell in SharePoint;  
  • Experience patching SharePoint Servers and Windows Server operating systems;  
  • Experience backing up, restoring, and moving sites and lists within SharePoint environments;  
  • Experience creating/editing custom SharePoint workflows and InfoPath forms; 
  • Experience tuning SharePoint to optimize perf01mance; familiarity with SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online; familiarity with SharePoint 3rd party tools; 
  • Experience writing technical documentation. 
  • Must be willing to work on site in customer facilities in Brunswick, GA 
  • Must be able to pass the DHS law enforcement background check.

USD $58,184.00/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate

USD $106,391.00/Yr.

Salary Disclosure

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
