Summary

Enterprise Security System (ESS) Administrator candidate will have expertise in designing, installing, configuring, backup, administer, manage, upgrade, troubleshoot, diagnose, test, monitor, archive data and document all Enterprise Security System software and hardware required to keep our customer operational at an optimal level and secure in accordance with DHS policiesApplications include physical access control, secure visitor management, alarm monitoring, incident management, digital video surveillance, fingerprint and identity management systems. 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document system hardware and software performance and utilize this information to develop recommendations to enhance performance, and implement approved changes as required to ensure performance is optimal 
  • Design, plan, and implement future capabilities of the ESS systems while performing solutions architecture functions. 
  • Support COOP activities during disaster recovery drills and events to maintain normal operations for the ESS system.  
  • Design, install, configure, administer, manage, upgrade, troubleshoot, diagnose, test, monitor, and document the ESS environment 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience with:  Physical access control, Secure visitor management, Alarm monitoring, Incident management, Digital video surveillance, Fingerprint and Identity management systems. 

  • Experience or familiar with the following: 
  • IDENTIV uTrust Velocity 
  • HID Globals EasyLobby visitor management software 
  • Bold Technologies Manitou 3.6 
  • PPM 2000 Perspective 4.6 
  • Pelco Digital Sentry appliances 
  • Live Scan Fingerprint systems 
  • DHS Identity Management System (IDMS) for Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD- 12) 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Must be willing to work on site in customer facilities in Brunswick, GA 
  • Must be willing and able to submit to and pass a DHS law enforcement background check.
