Summary

ValidaTek is searching for a Primary Technical Control Facility Lead to manage the day-to-day operational status of a cryptographic technical control facility supporting a large DoD IT infrastructure program providing a common view for all enterprise-wide users.

Responsibilities

In this role, this Lead will:

 

  • Ensure all systems and equipment are maintained at an optimal operational status 24x7.
  • Develop and implement plans to maintain and enhance operational capabilities. Focus will be on process improvement and ensuring facility capabilities meet or exceed industry best practices and operational standards.
  • Conduct regular facility assessments to ensure compliance with DISA 310-175-9 as well as other related regulations.
  • Manage the Tier 2 Tech Control Help Desk function, ensuring timely support for incidents, service requires and problem resolution.
  • Function as the point of contact and subject matter expert with customer leadership and stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the Tech Control team, driving performance as well as meeting and exceeding customer service level agreements.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

 

  • 5+ years of experience managing and operating cryptographic facilities.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a Network Operations Center.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in maintaining the operational status of a Tech Control facility.
  • Knowledge of Tech Control equipment including switches, encryption devises, network operation consoles, and circuits.
  • Knowledge operating and maintaining Tier 2 Tech Control helpdesk functions and DISAC 310-175-9.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to information management operations and ITSM best practices.
  • Knowledge in handling and managing incidents and service requests for changes, problems, configuration, and requisitions for equipment and services.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams to optimal performance.
  • Proven ability to provide technical direction and supervision in coordinating, restoring, and reporting functions necessary for effective maintenance of transmission paths and facilities.
  • Strong written and oral communications and the demonstrated ability to influence leadership and stakeholders.
  • All candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • All candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Posted Min Pay Rate

USD $95,577.60/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate

USD $159,296.00/Yr.

Salary Disclosure

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
