Summary

ValidaTek is searching for a Rapid Response Team Lead to oversee the integrity, security, and efficiency of the network framework that supports a large DoD IT infrastructure program providing a common view for all enterprise-wide users.  This will entail ensuring the framework meets all required engineering and security requirements and safeguards the system from all intrusions.

Responsibilities

In this role, the Rapid Response Team Lead will:

 

  • Lead the Rapid Response Team in response to cybersecurity breaches, focusing on assessing and mitigating the impact of issues and afterwards analyzing root causes to prevent further breaches.
  • Plan and test the necessary processes and procedures to ensure effective monitoring of the network and prevention of breaches before they occur.
  • Communicate plans and responses to incidents to customer leadership, providing them confidence that cybersecurity is of utmost importance and focus.
  • Communicate with and training all stakeholders and end users in the importance of awareness and prevention of incidents before they happen.
  • Ensure updated documentation on rapid response protocols and procedures are maintained and accessible to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manage and lead the Rapid Response Team focused on incentivizing strong performance from team members.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following:

 

  • 3+ years as a Lead Project Manager in a DoD IT environment.
  • Experience configuring and installing various network devices and services.
  • Experience monitoring network performance and resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
  • Experience using current and emergent network design principles and protocols.
  • Experience with network virtualization technologies, experience with multi-tenant network architectures, and familiarity with a width variety network routing and switching equipment devices from multiple vendors.
  • Experience with scripting languages and coding for network threshold events
  • Outstanding mathematics and IT abilities.
  • All candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • All candidates must have their PMP certification.
  • A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer sciences, business management, or related field is required.
