Provides program management and transition support to programs ensuring that implementation and defined activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives. Manages programs of varying complexity and size. Participates on teams through some or all phases of projects including Project Initiation, Project Planning, Project Execution, Project Monitoring and Control, Project Closure. Ensures that the project plan, scope, work breakdown structure, schedule, risk, budget, and deliverables are in alignment with the program goals and objectives as defined by the statement of work. Facilitates the efforts of team members to achieve their project and/or task goals and initiatives.
Assigns resources to program, establishes program objectives, and monitors progress. Develops program plans, and facilitates resolution of all issues to reach program goals. Manages program budget to reach revenue, cost, and profit targets. Manages and communicates ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance. Participates in client meetings, contract finalization, and development of requirements and specifications. May provide planning, design and implementation support to assigned area. May be responsible for ensuring successful integration of all program segments and services. May serve as primary liaison with program sponsors, customers and other stakeholders.
